Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points, etc.).
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability, reliability, and optimal response time.
Troubleshoot network problems and outages, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with IT teams.
Manage and administer firewalls, VPNs, and other security systems to protect organizational data.
Ensure data backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes are in place.
Maintain and update network documentation, configurations, and user access policies.
Provide technical support and training to staff and end users.
Evaluate new networking technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data privacy regulations.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement and maintenance of network infrastructure.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
Experience with Cisco/Juniper/HP/other enterprise networking devices.
Proficiency in Windows/Linux server administration.
Understanding of network security practices and firewalls.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Relevant certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.).
2-5 years of proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
