Job Responsibilities:
Support Block and Network Attached Storage (NFS/CIFS) platforms
Strong experience in Netapp 7-mode and cluster-mode configuration and support
Knowledge of Netapp Snap suite of products (Snapmirror, Virtual Storage console, SnapManager for Oracle,
SnapManager for SQL etc.), ISCSI, NFS, CIFS
Configuration and support of NDMP backups between a Netapp and third party backup products
Storage migration from 7 mode to Cluster mode using 7TT and WFA
Knowledge in VMware clusters and Linux
Responsible for infrastructure support including installations, configurations and upgrades.
Provide storage infrastructure system management including capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning,
security management etc.
Should be well versed with ITIL practice and incident management
Proven experience in complex, enterprise level Block/NAS platform in a mission critical environment
Zoning and performance management in Brocade SAN fabric
Zoning and performance management in Cisco SAN fabric
Basic Requirements:
At least 4 years of experience in Netapp and Brocade SAN
Excellent Communication skills (English)
Min. 15 years (12+3) of regular education
Additional Information:
Certifications would be given preference
