NETAPP STORAGE ADMINISTRATOR

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced

NetApp Storage Administrator

with strong hands-on expertise in NetApp technologies, including

Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)

. The ideal candidate will have solid skills across storage administration, automation, Linux/Kubernetes environments, and multi-AZ storage clustering. Experience with CEPH and data migration will be considered an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage, configure, and optimise NetApp storage environments, including

Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)

.

Administer and support all major NetApp features, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.

Work across

Linux

and

Kubernetes

-based environments for storage integration and troubleshooting.

Build and maintain

automation workflows

within storage and infrastructure operations.

Manage

storage clustering

across multiple availability zones and ensure seamless failover capabilities.

Perform

data migration

from NetApp and other storage devices with minimal downtime.

Implement and support

encryption technologies

within storage environments for data security.

Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams to ensure consistent delivery of storage services.

Optional: Contribute to scripting/programming tasks to enhance automation and operational efficiency.

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Expertise in

NetApp Administration

Deep knowledge of

NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)

Strong understanding of NetApp features, ONTAP environments & storage management

Linux

and

Kubernetes

administration

Infrastructure automation (Ansible / Python / Terraform preferred)

Experience with

multi-AZ storage clustering

Working knowledge of

CEPH storage

(hands-on preferred)

Proven experience in

data migration

across NetApp and other storage platforms

Understanding of

encryption technologies

Programming/Scripting skills

(optional but beneficial)
