Your future duties and responsibilities

. 5 to 8 years of Experience on VMware, Hypervisors, Linux, Blade servers, Switches, Servers, Firewalls and storage systems

. Good knowledge of OSS Network Elements in at least one of the key vendors (NetAct, NSP-NFM-P, CBIS & CBAM)

. Hands-on Experience on Network Element System and element management system and aware of daily health checks of servers.

. NM Install and Upgrades including NetAct variants such as NetAct Bare metal, NetAct Cloud (VMWare / OpenStack), NetAct DR, NetAct DR on Cloud

. Hands on in Archive Cloud (VMWare / OpenStack), NE Integrations to NetAct, Archive Cloud

. Experience in System Acceptance Tests, New Feature testing in Lab, Hardware expansions, software and hardware scaling

. Experience in storage migration.

. Scripting skills preferably Ansible, Python

. Prior experience of project life cycle - creation of HLD and LLD.

. Good understanding of 2G, 3G, LTE RAN, IP/MPLS network

. Experience in Network element integrations - Core/RAN/AD/Flow-one

. Should have good knowledge & understanding of telecom.

. Should have LINUX/UNIX troubleshooting experience.

. Should have installation/integration experience with Linux systems.

. Should have RHEL/RHCA certified

. Physical and remote monitoring of networking devices: switches and routers

. L1 level of troubleshooting of networking devices including configuration of switches and routers

. Basic knowledge about monitoring and basic troubleshooting of storage like SAN storage

. Basic knowledge about various cables installed in servers like console cables etc. and in which port particular cables needs to be installed.

. Install, configure, and maintain switches, servers, firewalls, and hard drives

. Troubleshoot network systems to identify and fix performance issues

. Provide solutions to complex problems on the integration of various technologies

. Calibrate and monitor data centre servers to ensure efficient performance

. Collaborate with IT handlers, sales, and data centre managers to develop action plan for improved operations

. Very strong hands-on experience on VMware vSphere

. Strong hands-on experience on Compute / Blades / Rack mounted Server

. Strong hands-on experience on HP Gen Server blades includes Gen 10+.

. Strong hands-on experience on storage systems like VNX, Unity, HP 3PAR etc.

. Provide expert advice and guidance on improving existing processes and establishing new processes and procedures.

. Deal with escalations and work with the team and the management on preventing them from recurring.

. Develop automation and standardization on delivery of project to reduce project cost charge-out.

. Familiarity with various Hypervisors (vSphere, Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer, KVM, etc.).

. Cloud concepts and technologies (vCloud Director, Amazon, OpenStack, etc.).

. Cloud orchestration tools (Chef, Puppet, vCenter Orchestrator, etc.).

Over 5 - 8 years of experience as NetAct Architect, with experience in deployment, support, Network management install, upgrade and Network element integration at communication service providers' (CSP) and enterprise networks. This includes network infrastructure services and professional services for mobile networks and managed operations for fixed, mobile, IP and optical domains. This includes fault management, performance management configuration management, SW management.
