What You\'ll Be Doing: Evolent Health is looking for a Lead Software Engineer who will be responsible for building and maintaining healthcare software solutions while working and collaborating with our cross-functional teams in Brea and India. This individual will play a critical role in executing Evolent Health\'s mission by architecting, developing, and maintaining technical processes around the .NET platform assets to ensure success in terms of both revenue and timely release of current and next generation products and capabilities. Essential functions: Develop and maintain .NET based web applications with emphasis on application integrations. Recruiting and mentoring new team members. Lead the software team through all phases of the SDLC using industry best practices that are secure and scalable. Collaborate with product and business owners in the development and execution of all types of software development considering the objectives of the organization. Ensure solutions exceed standards for quality, architectural integrity, performance, scalability, security, and availability. Explore and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools. Provides thought leadership in the areas of strategy and technology. Ensures team commitments are met and works with product to establish reliable timelines. Locate bottlenecks and drive process improvements. Perform code reviews. Communicate and interact with Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, Hosting Services/IT and Project Managers to ensure project success measure by timelines and quality measures while adhering to the SDLC. US time availability for technical calls with clients Skill Set Requirements: Excellent experience with Object Oriented programming, analysis and design using common design patterns and SOLID principles. Good experience in designing and developing applications using MS technologies. Good experience of Web development using C#, ASP.NET, MVC 6, ASP.NET Core. Excellent working experience with RESTful services Excellent experience of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Entity Framework) Demonstrable knowledge of code repositories (DevOps, CVS, Git, ADO) and branching strategies. Proven working experience on Front end technologies like JavaScript and jQuery. Hands on experience on Azure Cloud SaaS. Excellent learning abilities. Good Team player. Good verbal & written communication skills. MS CRM knowledge is an added advantage. Required BS/BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject More than 8 years\' experience software development experience Proven experience of leading/managing mid-size Software Development team (2-3yr) US Healthcare experience. Proven working experience in designing the application and handling NFRs (nonfunctional requirements) Experience with JIRA and DevOps for version control. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong leadership, and communication skills. Location: Hybrid (travel to Pune as needed for meetings and events only) Mandatory Requirements: We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.
