About the Role
We are seeking a
Senior .NET Developer
with strong expertise in
Azure Cloud
development and a proven track record of delivering highly scalable, mission-critical enterprise applications. This role demands technical depth, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and ensure delivery excellence in a fast-paced Agile environment.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on in ASP.NET Core, JavaScript/jQuery, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Azure Functions and comfortable managing the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-stack development: Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise solutions using ASP.NET Core with Azure services.
Cloud-native solutions: Architect, implement, and optimize solutions using Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Functions, and other Azure resources.
Sprint leadership: Actively contribute to sprint planning, story breakdown, estimations, and ensure timely delivery.
DevOps excellence: Drive CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and deployments using Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines (or equivalent).
Code quality & governance: Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct peer reviews, and ensure test coverage.
Performance & security: Implement best practices for scalability, performance tuning, and secure coding (identity management, encryption, etc.).
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and project managers to align technical delivery with business outcomes.
Mentorship: Guide and coach junior developers, share knowledge, and contribute to team upskilling.
Problem-solving: Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver long-term fixes.
Required Skills & Expertise:
7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on ASP.NET Core.
Strong front-end integration knowledge using JavaScript, jQuery (Angular/React knowledge is a plus).
Deep experience with Azure Cloud Services:
Cosmos DB (designing partitions, scaling, optimizing queries).
Blob Storage (secure file handling, lifecycle management).
Azure Functions (serverless event-driven architectures).
Practical experience in Agile/Scrum (sprint-based development).
Strong expertise with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines) or equivalent CI/CD tools.
Exposure to microservices architecture and API design.
Excellent debugging, performance tuning, and system optimization skills.
Strong communication and leadership skills - able to engage with stakeholders and drive technical decisions.
Nice-to-Have (Added Advantage)
Hands-on with Azure Data Factory (ETL, pipelines, integrations).
Experience with Kendo UI or similar rich UI frameworks.
Knowledge of Azure Monitoring & Application Insights for observability.
Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) or Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).
