We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. WeaAEURA(TM)re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. Introduction:

aAEURAa, a, a, Development and automated testing of in-house software products
aAEURAa, a, a, Participate in the Agile SCRUM process to ensure software deliverables meets business requirements
aAEURAa, a, a, Work with and mentor more-junior members of the development team
aAEURAa, a, a, Assist in the management of an Enterprise Backlog by providing expert technical knowledge
aAEURAa, a, a, Define best coding practices and help ensure these are adhered to via code-reviews
aAEURAa, a, a, Be prepared to be an active member of an Agile team and assist other areas when required
aAEURAa, a, a, Ensure code to meet quality standards (through Checklists) and coverage a, as measured by code reviews & unit tests(at 90%), Sonar Static code analysis and/or QA reports
aAEURAa, a, a, 100% adoption of std. DevOps tools including code quality instrumentation tool and ensuring Top code quality rating

What will you be doing?

Providing Leadership 10%

aAEURAa, a, a, To provide mentoring to more-junior members of the development team and wider IT community.

Software Development 85%

aAEURAa, a, a, Hands on development working in an Agile SCRUM team
aAEURAa, a, a, Responsible for full life cycle development and deployment
aAEURAa, a, a, Maintain and manage Source Control and Continuous Integration environment
aAEURAa, a, a, Participate with Solutions / Application architecture and design
aAEURAa, a, a, Provide development estimates as part of the Agile SCRUM team

Risk and Control Objective5%

aAEURAa, a, a, Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards.

aAEURAa, a, a, Understand the appropriate Policies and Standards applicable to the role through reading the Code of Conduct and other allocated training material.
