Role Overview
We are looking for a
.NET Core + Microservices Lead
to architect, build, and scale the
core backend platform
of VEROXON. This role is responsible for designing
highly scalable, resilient, and secure microservices
that power healthcare workflows, AI pipelines, and enterprise integrations.
The ideal candidate has
real product-building experience
, deep expertise in
.NET Core, distributed systems, and cloud-native design
, and can lead teams through complex technical decisions without compromising quality or compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture and development of
.NET Core microservices
for the VEROXON platform
Design scalable,
event-driven and API-first architectures
Define backend standards for
coding, performance, security, and observability
Build high-availability, fault-tolerant services for healthcare workloads
Drive
domain-driven design (DDD)
and clean architecture principles
Collaborate with Product Managers and Solution Architects on system design
Guide teams on secure API design and data access patterns
Integrate backend services with AI/ML, analytics, and data platforms
Ensure compliance with
HIPAA and healthcare security requirements
Lead backend code reviews and mentor senior and mid-level engineers
Optimize performance, latency, and resource utilization
Support enterprise integrations, customer deployments, and scaling needs
Required Skills & Experience
Core Backend & Leadership Experience
10-15 years of experience in backend software engineering
8+ years of hands-on experience with
Familiarity with healthcare integration patterns and secure data access
Microservices & Distributed Systems
Strong expertise in
microservices architecture
API design using
REST / gRPC
Experience with
message queues and event streaming
(Kafka, Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)
Service discovery, circuit breakers, retries, and resiliency patterns
Cloud & DevOps Collaboration
Hands-on experience with
AWS / Azure / GCP
Containerization using
Docker
Kubernetes deployment patterns and scaling strategies
CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure collaboration with DevOps teams
Data & Persistence
Experience with
SQL Server / PostgreSQL
Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB)
Data consistency, transactions, and performance tuning
Secure data access and encryption practices
Security & Quality
Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills
Ability to guide architectural decisions across teams
Excellent communication with product, security, and compliance teams
Experience working with global, cross-functional teams
