Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs using
NestJS
.
Design and maintain relational database schemas and write optimized SQL queries.
Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
Implement best practices for modular architecture, dependency injection, and code reusability in NestJS.
Ensure backend components are secure, scalable, and performance-tuned.
Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with
NestJS
, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Solid understanding of REST API development and microservice architecture.
Proficiency with
MySQL
(preferred) or similar relational databases.
Experience using ORM frameworks like
TypeORM
or Prisma.
Strong understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks (JWT, OAuth, RBAC).
Familiarity with caching (Redis), queues, and event-driven patterns is a plus.
Experience with Git, Docker, and Linux-based deployments.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code with proper architectural patterns.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with IoT integrations, BLE/RTLS systems, or real-time data pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure.
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
