Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in fabrication / steel structure / sheet metal industry Hands-on experience in

AutoCAD

,

AutoNesting

, and other

Nesting Software (e.g., SigmaNEST, ProNest, Metamation, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

nesting programs

for CNC plasma, laser, or oxy cutting machines using approved drawings. Optimize material utilization by creating

efficient nesting layouts

. Review fabrication drawings received from the design team and ensure accuracy before nesting. Coordinate with the

production and planning departments

to ensure smooth workflow and timely job execution. Maintain records of nested sheets, material usage, and job status. Verify that nesting files meet machine parameters and production requirements. Identify and troubleshoot any

technical issues

related to nesting or drawings. Contribute to continuous improvement in material yield, cutting time, and process efficiency.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of

AutoCAD

and

Nesting Software

(AutoNesting, SigmaNEST, ProNest, etc.) Good Knowledge of MS-office and Excel Good understanding of fabrication processes, sheet metal, and material properties. Attention to detail and accuracy in drawings. Basic knowledge of CNC machine operations and programming. Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Faridabad, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
