Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nephrologist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating kidney-related diseases and disorders, providing both inpatient and outpatient care, and contributing to patient education and departmental development.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), electrolyte disorders, hypertension related to renal issues Perform and oversee dialysis procedures (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis etc.) Provide pre- and post-transplant care for kidney transplant recipients Interpret and act upon kidney function tests and imaging studies Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals Mentor and train junior medical staff/trainees Maintain accurate and updated medical records, follow best practices and hospital protocols Possibly contribute to academic work / research if the institution is attached to medical education

Qualifications:

MBBS degree (recognized university) DM or DNB in Nephrology (or equivalent advanced specialization) Valid medical license / registration to practice in India (Himachal Pradesh preferred) Experience: Preferably 2-5 years post DM/DNB; possibly freshers considered depending on institution Good clinical skills, diagnostic ability, communication, teamwork
