The NEET & JEE Business Head is responsible for end-to-end business leadership of the Entrance Coaching Division. This includes P&L ownership, revenue growth, academic excellence, centre expansions, strategic marketing, team leadership, and operational discipline. The role demands deep expertise in competitive exam coaching, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership capacity to scale enrolments and student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy & P&L Ownership
Create and execute annual business plans for NEET & JEE verticals.
Own revenue targets, profitability, and cost control across centres.
Develop long-term growth strategy, including new centre launches and model optimisation.
2. Sales & Admission Management
Lead the admissions pipeline from lead generation to enrolment conversion.
Work closely with marketing teams to design high-ROI campaigns.
Monitor counsellor performance, conversion ratios, and monthly admission forecasts.
Implement parent outreach programs, seminars, and school partnerships.
3. Academic Operations Leadership
Ensure academic delivery excellence: faculty recruitment, training, timetables, assessments.
Monitor student performance metrics and implement academic intervention plans.
Standardise teaching quality, content delivery, doubt-clearing systems, and test series.
4. Team Building & People Management
Recruit, train, and lead Centre Heads, Counsellors, Marketing Executives, and Faculty.
Drive performance reviews, KPIs, incentive structures, and continuous skill development.
Foster a results-driven, student-centric organisational culture.
5. Marketing & Brand Development
Supervise ATL/BTL marketing for NEET/JEE verticals.
Manage local campaigns, digital promotions, school tie-ups, and PR drives.
Strategically position the brand as a preferred choice for NEET & JEE coaching.
6. Operational Excellence
Ensure SOP adherence across centres--academic, administrative, and financial.
Oversee infrastructure readiness, compliance, and student service quality.
Implement technology-driven processes for CRM, attendance, doubt-solving, exams, and reporting.
7. Stakeholder Management
Engage with parents, academic partners, vendors, and institutional collaborators.
Present business performance dashboards to senior management at regular intervals.
Required QualificationsEducation
Graduate/Postgraduate in Science/Engineering/Management.
Additional certifications in Education Management or Business Leadership preferred.
Experience
7-15 years experience in the coaching/edtech industry.
Proven track record of scaling NEET/JEE coaching operations.
Prior P&L or multi-centre leadership experience is highly desirable.
