Our MEC Group Training Institute is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic

Design Instructor

to lead our training programs. The ideal candidate will be an expert in industry-standard CAD software and foundational engineering principles, committed to providing a friendly, effective, and engaging learning experience. This role is crucial in preparing our students for successful careers in mechanical design and drafting.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction and Curriculum Delivery:

Deliver comprehensive and easy-to-understand training on

SolidWorks

and

AutoCAD

software. Teach core

engineering fundamentals

(e.g., drafting standards, materials science, basic mechanics) to ensure a strong conceptual foundation. Explain complex design concepts using

simple methods

and relate them to

real-world, live examples

to enhance student understanding and retention. Continuously work to

improve teaching skills

and methodologies to maintain a high standard of education.

Student Management and Assessment:

Maintain and

update records of student progress

and attendance.

Conduct weekly tests

and provide constructive feedback to students to help them gauge their learning and identify areas for improvement. Be a

friendly and approachable

mentor, fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills

Technical Expertise:

Proven, in-depth proficiency in

SolidWorks

for 3D modeling and advanced assemblies. Strong working knowledge of

AutoCAD

for 2D drafting and documentation. Solid understanding of

engineering fundamentals

, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), reading engineering drawings, and design principles.

Instructional Skills:

Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely. Demonstrated ability to use

live examples

and practical applications in teaching. A friendly, patient, and engaging teaching demeanor. Experience in conducting assessments and tracking educational progress is a plus.
