Position:

NCERT Chemistry Teacher (Class 11-12)

Location:

BDW International School, Shillong, Meghalaya

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for Classes 11 & 12 (NCERT curriculum). Prepare students for board examinations with a strong conceptual foundation and problem-solving skills. Design assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide constructive feedback. Integrate modern teaching methodologies and technology into classroom instruction. Mentor and guide students in academic as well as co-curricular activities. Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and school initiatives.

Qualifications

Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry or a related field. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory as per CBSE norms). Minimum 2-5 years of experience teaching senior secondary classes preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to engage students effectively. Familiarity with CBSE/NCERT syllabus and exam pattern.
