Service Supply Chain
SSCBP Non-Conformance Center of Excellence
At Vestas Service Supply Chain, we are continuously optimizing processes to ensure on-time delivery to our customers while maintaining an efficient setup with low inventory levels. Operating in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, this requires constant focus on improvement and agility. Within SCR Vestas, the Global Distribution Department is responsible for key Service Supply Chain activities, including the handling of Non-Conformity (NC) cases for both product and non-product deviations received from suppliers. Our role involves providing effective disposition solutions to customers in close coordination with various partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities

• Create and manage NCR notifications raised by originators for both product and non-product deviations in the SAP HANA ERP system.
• Independently handle assigned notifications and support customers in providing appropriate disposition actions.
• Review, prioritize, and assign the right partners to address NC issues using Pareto Analysis and Risk Priority Number (RPN) evaluation.
• Create supplementary NCRs for internally supplied products.
• Initiate disposition requests with suppliers and validate their task decisions through 5 Whys and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Determine final disposition actions and recover potential costs by applying Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) methodology.
• Coordinate and follow up with internal customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure timely resolution using Problem-Solving (8D) framework.
• Account for NC-related costs and close notifications in the system with proper traceability and documentation.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and PDCA cycle to drive process efficiency and reduce recurrence of issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-3 years hands-on experience in Procurement, Warehousing, and handling Non-Conformity (NC) issues for product and non-product deviations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Visual PPT, Microsoft Lists, and Excel Macros.
• Practical experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP.

Competencies

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral (knowledge of German or Danish is an added advantage).
• Good analytical ability with practical knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related activities.
• Flexible with work hours to support global sites, including those in the US.
• Structured, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Outgoing, approachable, and professional in interactions with stakeholders.
• Effective team player with strong collaboration skills.

Proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented.
Positive attitude with a good sense of humor.
