The Branch Manager of an NBFC oversees the overall functioning of the branch, ensuring smooth operations, business growth, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. The role involves managing sales, supervising staff, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining the financial health of the branch.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales
Drive branch sales targets for loans, deposits, and other NBFC products.
Develop new business opportunities and expand customer base.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance of the team.
Organize promotional campaigns and customer outreach programs.
2. Operations Management
Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations.
Manage cash transactions, documentation, and loan processing.
Verify customer KYC documents and ensure compliance with NBFC policies.
Oversee proper maintenance of records, files, and reports.
3. Credit & Risk Management
Screen loan applications and conduct initial credit assessments.
Ensure adherence to credit policies and risk guidelines.
Coordinate with the credit and risk team for approvals.
Ensure timely collection of EMIs and reduce delinquency.
4. Team Management
Lead, motivate, and guide the branch staff.
Set performance targets and conduct regular reviews.
Provide training on sales, customer service, and compliance.
Maintain a positive work environment within the branch.
5. Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Resolve customer complaints promptly.
Ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction.
6. Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with NBFC regulations, RBI guidelines, and company policies.
Prepare for internal and external audits.
Implement corrective actions for audit findings.
7. Reporting
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly branch performance reports.
Report branch business, collections, and operational issues to the Regional/Area Manager.
Monitor branch expenses and profitability.
Skills & Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
3-7 years of experience in NBFC/banking operations or sales.
Strong knowledge of loan products, credit norms, and collections.
Leadership and team management skills.
Good communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
Ability to work under targets and pressure.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
