Job Description

The Navisworks Engineer is responsible for model coordination, clash detection, and interdisciplinary coordination using Autodesk Navisworks. The role ensures clash-free, coordinated BIM models and supports project teams in resolving design and construction conflicts efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Import, integrate, and manage BIM models from multiple disciplines (Architecture, Structure, MEP) in Navisworks Perform clash detection and interference checks using Navisworks Manage Analyze, prioritize, and report clashes with clear screenshots and viewpoints Coordinate with BIM modelers, engineers, and project stakeholders for clash resolution Maintain clash reports, issue logs, and coordination documentation Conduct coordination meetings and present clash status updates Ensure BIM standards, workflows, and naming conventions are followed Support 4D/5D simulations if required Assist in model quality checks and compliance with project requirements

Required Skills & Tools

Proficiency in

Autodesk Navisworks Manage

Good understanding of BIM workflows and coordination processes Knowledge of Revit / Civil 3D / Plant 3D models (basic to intermediate) Experience in clash detection, reporting, and coordination Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma / BE / BTech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field Experience in Infrastructure / Building / Industrial projects Familiarity with BIM standards (ISO 19650 preferred)
