The Naval Architect - Vessel Performance Analyst role involves supporting the Vessel Performance & Analytics team in delivering advanced monitoring and optimization projects for vessel operations. The candidate will provide analytical support to clients, contribute to system development for vessel performance monitoring, and enhance in-house analysis methods. Additionally, the candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify performance improvement opportunities, execute optimization strategies, and deliver actionable insights that support digitalization and sustainability goals.
Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering performance monitoring and optimization projects for clients.
Provide analytical, fact-based decision support for vessel performance improvement.
Collaborate with technical teams to design, implement, and maintain vessel performance monitoring systems.
Develop and maintain in-house analysis methods for effective service delivery.
Create and manage dashboards for real-time performance tracking using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
Support operations teams in achieving digitalization and sustainability targets.
Conduct fleet performance monitoring for financial and operational optimization.
Address client/user feedback with practical and innovative solutions.
Apply knowledge of naval architecture and vessel design in analyzing performance data.
Work with cross-departmental teams, including engineering and operations, to ensure alignment of performance strategies.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (not necessarily in vessel performance).
Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture (mandatory).
Strong understanding of vessel design and hydrodynamics.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
Working knowledge of SQL and databases for data management and queries.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R(preferred) .
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to structure and interpret complex datasets for decision-making.
Good communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Compensation: Salary Range:
?35,000 to ?45,000 per month
, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
