Assist in preparing ship design drawings, stability calculations, and structural plans under the guidance of senior naval architects.
Support in hull form development, hydrostatics, resistance & propulsion calculations.
Assist in reviewing ship repair drawings, modification work, and retrofitting projects.
Work with the design team to prepare technical documentation, BOQs, and reports.
Coordinate with production / workshop teams for design clarifications.
Ensure compliance with class rules, safety standards, and marine regulations.
Desired Skills
Basic knowledge of ship design, hydrostatics, stability, and structural analysis.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Rhino, or other ship design software (basic level).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced marine environment.
Qualifications
B.Tech / B.E. in Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding, Ocean Engineering, or Marine Engineering.
0-1 year experience in shipyard, marine design office, or ship repair (fresher graduates also considered).
