Core responsibilities

Patient assessment and consultation:

Conduct initial consultations to take detailed medical histories, perform physical examinations, and assess the patient's overall health.

Treatment planning:

Create personalized treatment plans based on the assessment, which may include a combination of natural therapies.

Therapy administration:

Provide hands-on and guidance-based treatments like hydrotherapy, mud therapy, yoga, massage, or acupressure.

Patient education:

Educate patients on naturopathic principles, including diet, exercise, lifestyle changes, and the use of herbal or homeopathic remedies.

Progress monitoring:

Follow up with patients to monitor their progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Documentation:

Keep accurate and detailed records of patient cases, treatments, and progress.

Collaboration:

Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Facility management:

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment.
Key skills and qualifications

Education:

A diploma or degree in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) or a related field is often required.

Therapeutic skills:

Proficiency in specific techniques like hydrotherapy, mud therapy, yoga, and massage is essential.

Interpersonal skills:

Strong communication, empathy, and patience are necessary for patient interaction.

Technical skills:

Ability to manage patient records and follow safety protocols.

Knowledge:

A good understanding of naturopathic principles, herbal medicine, and diet is crucial
