When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. But that is not all. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors. You will support customer care locations (CCL) + operational care center (OCC) colleagues by working with internal + external stakeholders to capture, validate, document + train based on our customer commitments.

How you create impact

To perform risk assessments on customer requirements (SOW, SOP, etc.) pre + post submission of selling rates, highlighting any financial or operational risks. To take on new projects + build structures required to successfully deliver expected output while utilizing prescribed customer implementation project management tools. To lead + enable timely completion of project deliverables as well as providing weekly progress reports. To develop SOP, working instructions + training material (internal + external), obtaining signoff from end -users. To conduct regular Anytime conversations with all direct reports to discuss + ensure traction on delivering performance + development goals. To conduct daily + weekly stand-up meetings with your team to identify + resolve business issues. To ensure CCL + OCC colleagues have access to + are trained on shipment handling procedures for all customers. To ensure that all supporting systems (SeaLOG, OMS, ACON, etc.) have optimal + complete setups prior to first shipment.
