Job Title: National Sales Manager (Agent Network & Distribution)
Location: Based in Karnal / Panipat (with 10+ days travel per month)
About the Company
Our Client is an Home Furnishings textile manufacturing firm based in Panipat. They are looking for an "Ground-Level General" who has an active personal network of commission agents across India's major textile hubs or has the ability to develop a strong network of textile agents across different markets to drive product distribution.
Target Profile: 8-15 years in Textile Sales (Fabric/Yarn/Home Furnishings) with a proven track record of managing "Commission Agents." Preference for individuals who have
a track record of managing INR50cr+ in annual sales across India.
Key Responsibilities
? Network Reconstruction: Identify, vet, and onboard high-performing textile agents in major hubs (Guwahati, Delhi, Maharashtra, Surat, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Indore, Kolkata, Kanpur, other cities).
? Credit & Collection Management: Oversee the "Payment Cycle." In India, a sales manager is only as good as their collections.
? Market Intelligence: Feed real-time data back to the Karnal factory regarding trending designs, GSMs, and price points of competitors.
? Agent Motivation: Conduct monthly "Agent Meets" and drive targets through local influencers.
? Travel Readiness: 40 to 50% of the month will be spent in Tier 2/3 textile markets
What we are NOT looking for:
? Candidates who want to manage a team from a laptop.
? Candidates who do not have existing personal relationships with textile agents.
Performance-Linked Incentive Structure
We believe that a self-motivated sales leader will always back themselves if the "upside" is high. We offer a Hybrid Model with limited fixed pay plus a high
incentive structure to balance security with aggressive growth. We are looking for driven professionals who are confident of driving annual sales of INR50cr+.
A.The Fixed Base
A competitive market salary (e.g., ?8L - ?15L per annum) to ensure their basic needs are met and they feel valued.
B. The "Network Launch" Bonus (Milestone Based) To encourage the building of the network from scratch: ?50,000 Bonus for every 10 "Active" Agents on boarded
(Active = minimum ?10L billing in 90 days).
C. The Revenue Commission (The Real Motivator) We offer a percentage of the Collection (not just the Sales). 0.3%- 0.5% of Total Net Revenue, subject to minimum sales target
D. The "Zero Bad Debt" Kicker Textiles thrive on credit. To ensure the manager brings in quality agents:
Annual Bonus: A lump sum bonus if the "Overdue Receivables" (payments late by >90 days) stay below 5% of total sales.
