Job Description


The National Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the oncology division of the company, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and providing strategic direction and leadership to the sales team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical sales and management, as well as a deep understanding of the oncology market in India.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the sales and marketing strategy for the oncology division, in alignment with the company\'s overall strategy.

- Lead, manage and motivate the sales team, setting targets and providing ongoing training, coaching, and support.

- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospitals, and other relevant organizations.

- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, and provide regular updates to the senior management team.

- Prepare and manage the oncology division\'s budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.

- Attend relevant industry events and conferences, building the company\'s profile and promoting its products and services.

- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the oncology market, including current and future trends, as well as key drivers and challenges.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines.

Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field, such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or marketing with MBA in marketing

- At least 10 + years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of the oncology market in India, including key players, trends, and challenges.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the

ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data- driven decisions.

- A results-driven approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering business results.

- Ability to travel within India, as required.
