Leading Insurance Company - Mumbai



Role: National Sales Manager



Experience: 15+ years



Qualification: MBA or equivalent business degree preferred with Broker Qualified Person (BQP) certification ( Life & General)



Job Location: Chembur, Mumbai



Overall Profile:



We are looking for a self motivated person who is responsible for all sales activities across India, leading teams, developing strategies, driving new business acquisition and achieving revenue targets. They will be responsible to manage Zonal / Regional Sales managers in order to effectively create and sustain Insurance sales strategies at a National Level

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) :



Setting and Achieving Sales Targets:


Responsible for setting and achieving sales targets across all locations

Team Leadership:


They need to have motivational skills to manage Zonal/ Regional Sales Managers, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals.

Strategy Development:


They must be adept to not only develop, but effectively implement National Sales strategies to drive business growth and market penetration on a monthly basis

Client Relationship Management:


They build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including insurance brokers and Point of Sales Persons ( POSP)

Product Knowledge:


Must have adequate understanding of Life & General Insurance products being offered by various Insurance companies.

Market Analysis:


Identify changing market trends along with Regulatory changes and adapt strategies based on these trends.

Performance Monitoring:


Regularly monitor sales performance, analyse data, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Training and Development:


Ensure appropriate training and development to sales teams to enhance their skills and performance.

Reporting and Analysis:


Prepare regular reports on sales performance and provide insights to Senior Management.

Skills and Qualifications:



Experience: Typically requires 15+ years of experience in selling General insurance and Life Insurance products from preferably from insurance brokering company or else Insurance Company. at Senior Position with PAN India experience at National Level of atleast 5 years Develop POS channels : Should either have identified POS who will place business Direct Business acquisition : Should have connects with Corporates to generate Insurance business at PAN India level
