A National Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that a company's sales objectives across all regions in the country are met. This is a senior position that involves supervising the entire sales team of the organization. As a national sales manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position. Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large, distributed customers both internal and external.

Goal of the Position:



Sales Targets in all Channels are achieved with a consistent growth monthly, Quarterly and Annually

Responsibility:



Develop and implement effective sales strategies for all verticals General Trade, Modern Retail & E Com

Responsible for achieving planned sales Targets Through channels and through customers

Achieving consistent growth by managing various internal and external Resources.

Provide trade information, competitor's activities and market intelligent to company

Timely Review & Training of Sales Team & Developing their Sales Skills.

Leading, Directing, Managing & Motivating Sales team all across to achieve their sales targets.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts item wise

Prepare Monthly Travel Plans & Working plan of Sales Team.

Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities

Align and execute trade marketing and trade promotions with the sales strategy and overall business strategy

Lead resource for planning and negotiating for in-store activation, merchandising, sell-out plans with the accounts

Work within allocated promotional cost and ensure effective spending in driving sales and brand building.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements

Manage relationships with Key account Managers in primary buying locations& map significant buyers in other locations

Approving all claims on promotions & scheme

Skills Required:



Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

Strong business sense and industry expertise

Good knowledge in excel, macros, MIS is required

Need someone with the minimum experience of 11- 15 years and from FMCG industry

At least 5-7 years exp in managing PAN India Sales handling large sales volume.

Exposure to working in a startup is an added advantage.
