Range:
25 Lakhs Fixed + Incentives (Up to 2x
Fixed based on performance)
Travel Required: Yes, Pan India Incentives applicable: Yes
Working Days: Monday to Saturday Work Timings : 10:15am to 6:45pm
Role Purpose:
? To build and lead the Modular Projects Vertical for Durian across India. This includes driving business through:
? Architects & Interior Designers
? Builders & Developers
? PMC Firms
? Corporate & Commercial Projects
? High-end residential and AID clients
This is a P&L-linked national leadership role responsible for revenue delivery, profitability, account penetration, and team
expansion across multiple cities.
Key Responsibilities:
A. National Sales Leadership
? Own the annual and monthly revenue targets (?50-100 Cr vertical).
? Drive modular project sales across: Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and other emerging
markets.
? Build and manage the national sales funnel: enquiry pitch BOQ costing negotiation PO.
? Ensure strong conversion rates and disciplined follow-up across all regions.
B. Market Development & Account Penetration
? Build relationships with top architects, interior designers, and developer groups.
? Conduct product presentations, CPDs, mock-ups, design workshops, and showroom walk-throughs.
? Get Durian products specified in BOQs and tender documents.
? Identify and break into large builder accounts for multi-site business.
C. Business & P&L Responsibility
? Full ownership of P&L for the Modular Projects vertical.
? Drive Gross Margin and Net GP targets.
? Maintain discount discipline and commercially sound closures.
? Work with engineering and costing teams to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and competitive pricing.
D. Team Building & Expansion (PAN-India)
? Scale the Projects team across major metros.
? Hire experienced modular/interior industry sales managers with strong existing relationships.
? Build a culture of accountability, high-performance, and technical competence.
? Enable continuous training on product, BOQs, pitching skills, and site understanding.
E. Technical & Execution Alignment
? Coordinate with design & engineering teams for:
? Drawing accuracy
? BOQ correctness
? Costing & feasibility
? TAT on revisions and 3D output
Coordinate with factory & SCM for dispatch planning, installation readiness, and site timelines.
F. Marketing & Business Enablement
Partner with marketing to drive:
? Architect meets
? Design community events
? Sample kits and pitch decks
? Portfolio creation
? Strengthen brand presence across the AID ecosystem.
Desired Candidate Profile:
? 15+ years preferred (minimum 10+), with strong exposure to modular kitchens, wardrobes, or interior project
sales.
? Proven experience managing ?30Cr+ annual business individually or via teams.
? Must have a strong network of architects, interior designers, builders, PMC firms.
? Strong technical understanding of modular systems, finishes, hardware, BOQs, and site execution.
? Has led teams across multiple regions or managed large territories.
Qualification & Experience:
? Graduate or Postgraduate;
Preferred: background in Interiors / Architecture / Design management
