Strategic and planning responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Create sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management.
Plan and execute promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
Team and people management
Lead, manage, and mentor a sales team to achieve their targets and improve skills through coaching and training.
Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals and handling post-sales support.
Ensure the sales team maintains strong relationships with dealers, distributors, influencers (architects, contractors, carpenters), and customers.
Sales and operations
Drive sales and achieve business targets in a specific territory.
Build and manage networks of dealers, distributors, and retailers.
Oversee branch operations, including logistics, inventory, and order fulfillment.
Manage and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues.
Ensure timely payment collection and manage credit control effectively.
Coordinate with production for logistics and with the head office for pricing and marketing initiatives.
