ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
To generate the business through digital & alternative channels like Internet Banking & Mobile Banking etc. To establish channels to tap into new innovations and possible future inorganic growth of the bank through alliances & partnerships with Fin-techs, Startups, Accelerators etc. and create a culture of innovation in the organization.
This role covers the entire gamut of digital innovation and new initiatives within the bank i.e.
Increase the business through
Ideate, prioritize and implement ROI focused innovative concepts and strategic projects with key focus on customer acquisition, cost savings, revenue generation, improved customer experience, building operational efficiencies, internal processes (intra as well as inter-departmental), employee engagement & collaboration etc. To establish channels to tap into new innovations and possible future inorganic growth of the bank through alliances & partnerships with Fin-techs, Startups, Accelerators etc. and create a culture of innovation in the organization

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Business
Oversees that the bank offers sustainable Digital Business offerings with relevant Business team, support function team and other stakeholders across Bank.
Leads implementation employee focused digital solutions to improve employee engagement and productivity in collaboration.
Leads the implementation of innovative solutions to improve internal process management within the bank
Evaluate Fintech's and startups for implementable and ROI focused solutions
Create Innovation focused properties / platforms with the help of Fintech's identified through Innovation summits, API Summit, Hackathons and Partnerships with Accelerators, Institutes etc.
Customer
Oversees customer research in collaboration with the marketing team to understand and address their current and future needs.
Oversees & Evaluate third parties for collaborations on API based banking.
Build partnerships with digital solution providers for improving targeted business (CASA, Asset and Card base, NTB customer Acquisition) and employee focused (ESAT, Engagement scores, Productivity, Attrition rates ) metrics.
Collaborate with different teams like BTG/IT, Audit, ISG, Compliance, Legal, Business and lead a cross functional project team to ensure ideal solutioning and approvals for product launch and execution.
Internal Process
Oversees areas of innovation for better employee experience, improvement in internal processes (both inter and intra departmental) through analytics in collaboration with the respective business / support function verticals.
Oversees go-live for digital innovation projects, support management and lead the project team from concept initiation to Go LIVE
Monitors post launch training is conducted for relevant stakeholders & oversee customer support.
Oversees post launch analytics and oversee product refinements and enhancements.
Monitors in all cost negotiations for business justification, closure of contracting with the collaboration partners
Learning & Innovation
Research emerging technologies (Directly or through institutions), innovations and latest product/process improvement launches in BFSI sector and in the general technology space and generate actionable ideas / concepts related to these upcoming technologies
Leverage the findings to implement digital solutions for existing challenges being faced by internal customers (employees) and external customers.
Benchmark Ujjivan's Digital product offerings against the competition and strive to position Ujjivan SFB in the top 5 in the industry in the digital space.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Educational
Qualifications
MBA, equivalent qualification
Experience(Years and Core Experience Type)
18 + years of experience in Digital Channels & Liabilities.
