JOB DESCRIPTION

:
Objective: To ensure that staff and teams are in position to tackle compliance issues. To fully interpreting enforcement laws and supplying executives and workers with appropriate communication regarding such laws.
Title: National Manager – Compliance
Function: Human Resource
Work Location: Bangalore
Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive Compliance centrally through a digitalized process implementation
  • Contract WFM- Automation for cost saving and compliance
  • Betterment of Employee Relations through advocacy and established process
  • Ensure that the service experience of employees provided through regulatory compliance is compatible with or above the goals of the fixed service standard
  • Examination of compliance patterns and devising the appropriate action plan
  • Carryout Internal investigation and Domestic inquiry
  • Periodic analysis of processes, records etc. to detect hidden risks or problems of non-conformity
  • Ensuring and checking the reporting, execution, and communication of all regulatory HR policies and procedures
  • Provide all levels of the company with experience, consultation, and coaching on how to handle employee actions and performance issues
  • Working together with the legal team to communicate the requirements associated with all applicable HR-related legal/regulatory and compliance programs
  • Responsible for drafting policy, process, and procedure to improve on the compliance posture of the organization
  • Conducts interviews, scrutinize details, and ask questions to make sure employees make every effort to stay compliant across the company's various departments
  • Work independently on certain Disciplinary processes which are laid down and do periodic checks to ensure employee risk mitigation

Geographical Scope: PAN India
Reports To: National Head – ER & Compliance
Key Customers:
Internal Customers: Other sub-functions in the HR team, Legal team, PAC team
External Customers: Lawyers, Government authorities
Job Requirements:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in disciplines such as Economics, Law, Accounting, or Finance, or in another related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in HR compliance-related efforts/any relevant field
Functional Skills:
  • Good communications skills and confidence level
  • Able to handle employee disputes, settlement, and legal cases independently
  • Knowledge and experience on minimum wages, PF, ESI, Payroll, gratuity, bonus and other labor laws
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
  • A business acumen partnered with a commitment to legality
  • Should be energetic and solution oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills which enable ahead of compliance to work effectively with others
