Supervise fabrication activities including cutting, welding, bending, and assembly. Ensure compliance with NACE standards and company quality procedures.
Conduct inspections and audits of fabrication processes, welds, and coatings.
Provide technical guidance on material selection and corrosion-resistant coatings.
Review and approve fabrication drawings, specifications, and welding procedures.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Prepare reports and maintain documentation for compliance and certification.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in fabrication and corrosion control.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Materials Science.
NACE certification (e.g., NACE CIP Level /2/3) preferred.
2+ years of experience in fabrication engineering, preferably in oil & gas or heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of welding processes and corrosion engineering principles.
