JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The job responsibilities of this position include:
1. Knowledge of assembling and testing Opto-Electronic Devices such as Image Intensifiers, Thermal Imagers, and Day Optics.
2. Capable of conducting testing of Night Vision and Thermal devices, adhering to specified parameters.
3. Knowledge of operating laboratory equipment including environmental chambers, and IP testing.
4. Managing documentation related to Quality System Manual, Quality System Procedures, Work Instructions, and NABL Formats.
5. Familiarity with military testing standards such as JSS55555, MIL810, IS9000, JSS5855, IS10236, and IEC60529.
6. Competent to coordinate NABL audit plans and interact with Assessors and NABL officers for accreditation processes / MRM, Internal Audits of NABL laboratory.
7. Demonstrate machinery operation and provide training on Opto-Electronic Product usage.
8. Ensure compliance with NABL Accreditation renewal processes and required documentation.
9. Maintain accurate records of in-house testing activities.
10. Should have knowledge of using precision instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc., for accurate measurements.
11. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills in team environments.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Diploma or B. Tech in Electronics / Mechanical & Communication Engineering or in relevant field is must.
2. Proven experience in assembling and testing Opto-Electronic Devices preferably from the
Defence manufacturing industry.
3. Must be certified in 4 days internal auditor training on ISO 17025:2017 standards.
4. Should have familiarity with military testing standards and quality assurance protocols.
5. Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and precision instruments.
6. Excellent organizational skills with a meticulous approach to documentation.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
8. Previous experience in managing NABL Accreditation processes.
