Job Title: Automation Specialist (n8n / Workflow Automation)About Us

We are Harris Acquire, a mergers and acquisitions business helping companies buy and sell. We are investing in automation to increase efficiency, improve data handling, and streamline workflows. We are looking for a hands-on Automation Specialist to design, implement, and maintain automated processes using n8n and other tools.

Role Overview

The Automation Specialist will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks in our operations and creating automation workflows that save time, reduce errors, and improve scalability. You will work closely with our team to integrate data sources, build workflows, and maintain smooth operations across our CRM, emails, finance, research, and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automated workflows in

n8n

to streamline business processes Integrate APIs, webhooks, and third-party tools (CRM, Google Sheets, Xero, Companies House, email systems, etc.) Maintain and troubleshoot existing automations to ensure reliability Work with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities across different parts of the business Ensure automations are well-documented and scalable Train internal staff on how to use and adapt automations Stay updated with new n8n features, AI integrations, and automation best practices
Key Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with

n8n

(or similar platforms such as Make or Zapier) Ability to connect APIs and manage authentication (OAuth2, API keys, webhooks) Knowledge of

databases

and data formatting (JSON, CSV) Comfortable working with

Google Workspace tools

Understanding of CRM systems (Zoho CRM experience is a plus) Problem-solving mindset, with an ability to translate business processes into technical workflows Some coding experience (JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript) is an advantage but not essential
