Our client is building an AI orchestration platform that automates entire workflows for the commercial real estate industry. Their mission is to move business teams from spending time on manual outputs to focusing on strategic outcomes. They eliminate "swivel chair" work by connecting siloed SaaS applications and unlocking billions of dollars in value trapped in disparate systems.

Requirements:

We're seeking an n8n Administrator who combines technical workflow expertise with light development skills to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade automation solutions. You'll be the bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, creating powerful automations that transform how our clients operate. From building complex multi-step workflows to writing custom JavaScript functions and managing n8n infrastructure, you'll own the entire automation lifecycle.



Workflow Development & Management

Workflow Design: Create sophisticated automation workflows using n8n's visual builder, connecting 400+ integrations to solve complex business challenges Custom Node Development: Build lightweight custom nodes and functions using JavaScript/TypeScript when native integrations don't meet specific requirements Process Optimization: Analyze existing business processes and design efficient automation strategies that reduce manual work by 80%+ Error Handling: Implement robust error handling, retry logic, and fallback mechanisms to ensure workflow reliability Testing & Validation: Develop comprehensive testing strategies for workflows including edge cases and failure scenarios

Technical Administration

Instance Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain n8n instances across development, staging, and production environments Performance Monitoring: Monitor workflow execution, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for speed and reliability Security Configuration: Implement security best practices including credential management, API key rotation, and access controls Backup & Recovery: Establish backup strategies and disaster recovery procedures for critical automation workflows Version Control: Manage workflow versioning and deployment pipelines using Git-based workflows

Integration & Development

API Integration: Connect diverse systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and custom authentication methods Data Transformation: Write JavaScript code to transform, validate, and enrich data between different systems

Database Operations:

Create workflows that interact with SQL and NoSQL databases for data synchronization and reporting Custom Functions: Develop reusable JavaScript functions for common operations across workflows

Webhook Management: Design and implement webhook-based real-time integrations

Business Partnership

Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into technical workflows Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for workflows, including business logic, dependencies, and maintenance procedures Training & Enablement: Train business users on self-service automation capabilities and best practices Support & Troubleshooting: Provide tier 2/3 support for production workflows and resolve complex automation issues
