Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

IB MYP Geography Tutor

to teach middle years students (MYP 3-5). The tutor should be skilled in the MYP framework, able to teach inquiry-based lessons, guide assessments, and prepare students for school tasks and MYP e-Assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver tailored MYP Geography lessons (units of inquiry, fieldwork concepts, case studies). Teach physical and human geography topics: ecosystems, population, urbanization, resource management, maps & spatial skills. Guide students through MYP assessment criteria (investigation, communication, reflection). Set practice tasks, record feedback, and monitor progress against MYP objectives. Support project work, fieldwork planning ideas (where applicable), and exam preparation.

Requirements:

Proven experience teaching

IB MYP Geography

(preferred: taught in an IB school or has MYP curriculum experience). Strong conceptual knowledge in both physical & human geography. Familiarity with MYP assessment criteria and task design. Excellent communication skills and experience teaching online. Reliable internet, digital whiteboard skills, and a student-centered teaching style. Degree in Geography/Education or related subject preferred.

Compensation:

?600 per hour (one-to-one online).
