Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and client-centric Mutual Fund Specialist to join Magnum. The successful candidate will guide clients on mutual fund investments, assist with login and account access, manage all documentation and process-related tasks, and maintain month-on-month reports with meticulous record-keeping in Nagpur. This role requires strong financial knowledge, excellent client service, and a detail-oriented approach to documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert guidance to clients on mutual fund options, investment goals, risk tolerance, and retirement/planning needs.
Assist clients with online account access and login procedures, including secure authentication, password management, and troubleshooting access issues.
Coordinate and collect all required documentation for account setup, KYC, fund transactions, SIPs, switches, and systematic withdrawal plans (SWPs).
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all client documentation (KYC, FATCA/CRS, AML checks, mandate forms, SIP registrations, POAs, and risk disclosures).
Process mutual fund transactions (new investments, top-ups, switches, redemptions) in a timely and compliant manner.
Maintain robust filing and record-keeping for all client interactions and transactions, with secure storage of documents.
Prepare and present client-specific investment recommendations, portfolio reviews, and performance analyses.
Generate and maintain month-on-month reports, including:
Transaction activity
Investment performance vs benchmarks
Tax implications and harvest/exit considerations
Fee and expense reporting
Compliance and documentation status
Ensure data accuracy in the CRM and back-end systems; update client records after every interaction.
Stay updated on mutual fund product changes, regulatory requirements, and market developments; communicate implications to clients.
Collaborate with sales, compliance, and operations teams to resolve client issues and ensure a seamless experience.
Maintain a high standard of ethics and client confidentiality in all activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., AMFI/NISM certification for mutual funds) preferred.
2+ years of experience in mutual funds, investment advisory, or a related financial services role.
Strong knowledge of mutual fund products, SIPs, lumpsum investments, tax implications, and risk profiling.
