Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching music and a strong ability to engage young learners. The Music Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing music education programs for elementary and primary students, fostering a love for music, and encouraging artistic expression.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to the developmental needs of elementary and primary students. Introduce students to various musical concepts, including rhythm, melody, harmony, and music theory. Facilitate individual and group music activities, including singing, instrumental performance, and composition. Organize and conduct school music performances, concerts, and events. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity and confidence. Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their musical goals. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into the broader curriculum and school activities. Manage classroom resources and equipment effectively and ensure a safe learning environment.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant teaching certification or licensure for elementary and primary education. Proven experience teaching music to young students, preferably in an elementary or primary school setting. Strong proficiency in various musical instruments and vocal techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. Ability to design and implement creative and age-appropriate music curriculum. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with music technology and digital tools for music education. Knowledge of diverse musical genres and cultures. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
