Job Description

Role Purpose : As a Music Teacher, you will inspire and guide students in their musical journey. Your passion for music and teaching will help students develop their vocal, instrumental, and performance skills, while fostering creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Key Responsibilities:

• Teach vocal and instrumental music to students across various age groups.

• Develop and implement structured lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.

• Introduce music theory, rhythm, tempo, and sight-reading exercises.

• Conduct rehearsals, ensembles, and music practice sessions.

• Guide students in performances, competitions, and school events.

• Encourage creativity through composition, improvisation, and expression.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Integrate music appreciation, cultural knowledge, and music history into lessons.

• Maintain musical instruments, classroom resources, and audio equipment.

• Foster discipline, teamwork, and confidence among students.

• Collaborate with other teachers for school events, assemblies, and performances.

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and achievements.

• Attend professional development programs to stay updated with modern music teaching techniques.

Requirements
Education Requirements:

• B.Ed.

Experience Requirements:

• 0-3 years of teaching experience in music or a related area.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in vocal training and instrument training.

• Strong understanding of music theory, rhythm, and tempo.

• Ability to teach site-reading and music composition.

• Experience in conducting musical performances and classroom management.

Soft Skills:

• Creativity in lesson planning and instructional delivery.

• Strong student engagement and motivational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
