Music Teacher (English & Western)

Navdeep Public School, Kollam, Kerala

Responsibilities

Teach vocal and instrumental music with emphasis on

Western and English music styles

(choir, band, classical, and contemporary). Train students for

annual day, inter-school competitions, choir, and cultural programmes

. Develop age-appropriate lesson plans for classes ranging from

Play Class to XII

. Introduce students to

Western notation, harmony, rhythm, and performance techniques

. Guide students in both

solo and group performances

, building confidence and teamwork. Collaborate with teachers for integrated arts-based learning.
Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Music or equivalent certification. Formal training in

Western/English music

(voice or instruments). Ability to play

piano/keyboard or guitar

is highly preferred. Previous teaching experience in schools will be an added advantage. Strong communication skills in

English
