Job Description

Music Teacher (Keyboard & Guitar) -

The Music Teacher will be responsible for teaching keyboard and guitar to students, developing their musical skills, and preparing them for performances, exams, and school events. The teacher should be passionate about music education, able to work with students of different age groups, and create an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Instruction

Teach keyboard and guitar to students from beginner to advanced levels.

Plan and deliver structured music lessons aligned with school curriculum.

Train students in music theory, notation reading, rhythm, and ear training.

Provide individual and group coaching sessions.

Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Performance & Events

Prepare students for school assemblies, cultural programs, competitions, and examinations.

Coordinate and lead school choir/band practice when required.

Lesson Planning & Classroom Management

Develop lesson plans, practice materials, and assessments.

Maintain discipline and create a positive, motivating classroom atmosphere.

Ensure care and maintenance of musical instruments.

Collaboration & Communication

Work with school management for curriculum planning and event coordination.

Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.

Participate in staff meetings and training programs.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent certification

Proficiency in keyboard and guitar (practical and theoretical).

Strong understanding of Western and/or Indian music concepts.

Good communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire students.

Preferred Attributes

Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.

Creativity in lesson delivery.

Ability to organize performances and guide student groups.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?52,000.00 per month
