About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and creative

MYP Music Teacher

to join our dynamic IB team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, experience with the

IB MYP framework

, and the ability to inspire students to explore music through performance, composition, and appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and inquiry-based

Music lessons aligned with the IB MYP curriculum

. Develop students' understanding of

music theory, composition, performance, and world music

traditions. Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration through individual and group projects. Organize student performances, concerts, and exhibitions as part of the school's arts program. Maintain records of student progress and contribute to formative and summative assessments as per IB standards. Collaborate with the Arts Department to integrate interdisciplinary learning experiences. Participate in MYP planning, reflection meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's / Master's degree in

Music, Performing Arts, or related field

(B.Ed. preferred).

IB MYP Music teaching experience or IB-certified training (Category 1/2)

preferred. 3+ years of relevant teaching experience in international or progressive schools. Strong musical proficiency (vocal and/or instrumental) and familiarity with digital music tools. Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Ability to work with a variety of musical instruments and digital music software (GarageBand, Sibelius, etc.). Experience directing school choirs, ensembles, or musical productions. Collaborative mindset and passion for holistic, student-centered education.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
