We are looking for a passionate and talented

Music Teacher

to join our vibrant faculty. The ideal candidate will not only teach music to students from

classes 1 to 8

but will also take active leadership in organizing and conducting

school assembly programs

, events, and performances throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities:Teaching Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct engaging music classes for students from

Classes 1 to 8

. Introduce students to vocal music, basic instruments, and rhythm patterns. Prepare students for inter-house competitions, annual functions, cultural programs, and exhibitions. Conduct assessments and maintain records of student performance.

Assembly & Event Responsibilities:

Lead the daily morning assembly

- guiding prayer songs, national anthem, theme-based songs, and coordination with other teachers. Prepare musical pieces and performances for important days (e.g., Independence Day, Republic Day, Teachers' Day, etc.). Train students for group singing, solo performances, and background music as per event requirements. Collaborate with the dance, drama, and art departments for integrated performances.

General Duties:

Maintain musical instruments and audio equipment in working condition. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Participate in all school events, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Music (Vocal/Instrumental). Knowledge of Indian classical and contemporary music. Ability to play at least one instrument (harmonium, keyboard, tabla, guitar, etc.). Strong classroom management and communication skills. Experience in organizing music-based events is a plus.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
