Job Overview The Music Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality music education that develops students' technical skills, creativity, discipline, and appreciation of music. The role includes teaching theory and practice, organizing performances, and nurturing students' musical talents across various levels.

Core Responsibilities Teaching & Instruction Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards

Teach music theory, composition, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear training

Provide vocal training and/or instrumental instruction (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, percussion, wind instruments)

Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and skill levels

Integrate technology and digital tools into music instruction where appropriate

Student Development & Assessment Evaluate student performance through practical exams, assignments, and observations

Provide timely feedback and personalized guidance

Identify and nurture musically gifted students

Support students in preparing for music examinations, competitions, and certifications

Performance & Extracurricular Activities Organize and conduct choir, band, orchestra, or ensemble rehearsals

Prepare students for school events, concerts, recitals, and cultural programs

Coordinate with staff for inter-school competitions and performances

Classroom & Resource Management Maintain a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment

Manage and maintain musical instruments and equipment

Ensure proper use and storage of music resources

Collaboration & Administration Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Maintain student records, lesson plans, and progress reports

Stay updated with current music education trends and methodologies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
