Job Description

We are seeking experience Murex Integration and Reporting consultant to join our growing team.

• MXML Workflow: Understanding of Murex XML workflows for trade import/export.
• MxML Exchange: Knowledge of Murex internal data exchange formats.
• Interfaces & Connectors: Configuring external/internal interfaces (e.g., MQ, FpML, REST, JMS).
• Trade Workflow (STP): Familiarity with Straight-Through Processing (STP) configurations.

Data Integration Tools & Protocols

• XML / XSLT: Used in MxML workflows and report transformations.
• JSON / FpML / FIX Protocols: For integration with external systems (e.g., upstream trading systems).

Datamart Configuration:

• Setting up extraction templates.
• Scheduling extractions (Batch tasks).

Dynamic Tables:

• Creating data views with filtering/sorting/grouping.

Viewer Reports:

• Formatting reports for GUI and export.

Pre-trade and Post-trade Reporting.
Database & Querying

• SQL / Sybase IQ: Advanced joins, subqueries, aggregation, indexing for performance.
• Data Modeling: Understanding of Murex schema for trades, market data, and risk.

Domain Knowledge (Highly Recommended)

• Financial Instruments: Derivatives, Bonds, FX, IRD, Equities.
• Trade Life Cycle: Understanding how trades flow from Front to Back office.

Tech Skills

• Unix/Linux Shell Scripting: Automation of file movement, logs, etc.
• Python / Perl / Korn Shell: Common scripting languages used in Murex integrations.
