Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Murex Collateral Consultant to join the team supporting Murex platform for a leading global bank. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working on collateral lifecycle, margining processes, CSA agreements, and regulatory margining (SIMM) within the Murex ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support the Collateral Management module in Murex
• Manage the collateral workflow, including:

• Margin calls generation
• Agreement definitions (CSA, GMRA, ISDA)
• Eligibility rules and thresholds
• Substitution and dispute workflows
• Work on both Initial Margin (IM) and Variation Margin (VM) processes
• Integrate Murex collateral module with external systems
• Define and implement collateral optimization, exposure monitoring, and reporting mechanisms
• Collaborate with internal risk, operations, and front-office teams for issue resolution and enhancements
• Perform impact analysis for changes in agreements, margin rules, or regulatory requirements
• Support UAT, regression testing, and production deployment for collateral-related changes

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience on Murex and 2+ years on Collateral
• Strong hands-on experience in Murex Collateral Module configuration
• Sounds understanding of capital markets domain & asset classes
• In-depth understanding of margining processes, CSA/ISDA terms, and agreement setup
• Experience with regulatory margining requirements: BCBS-IOSCO, SIMM, etc.
• Familiarity with collateral instruments (cash, bonds, treasuries, etc.)
• Ability to interpret and implement collateral eligibility rules and haircuts
• Proficiency in Datamart reporting and MxML workflows for collateral
• Working knowledge of Murex Workflows, UDFs, and trade attributes
