We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Murex Automation Consultant to lead testing initiatives for complex financial systems. You need to have deep expertise in test automation, framework design, and domain knowledge in Murex. Familiarity with Xceptor is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable test automation frameworks.


Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, BAs, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases.


Drive test strategy, planning, and execution for Murex-related projects.


Mentor junior QA team members and enforce best practices in test automation and quality assurance.


Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline integration, and test data management.


Support UAT and production validation efforts.

Skills

Must have


4+ years of experience in software testing with at least 4+ years in MxTest automation.


Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, RestAssured, or similar.


Proficiency in Java/Python or other scripting languages used in automation.


Experience in building and maintaining custom automation frameworks.


Solid understanding of Murex architecture, trade lifecycle, Trade insertion, E2E deal flow (FO, BO, Confo, and settlements).


Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation.


Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar.


Nice to have


Working knowledge of Xceptor for data transformation and reconciliation.


Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.


Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and using Machine Learning skills


ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification.


Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.


Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
