The Field Sales Executive will be the
primary revenue driver
for dwarka.com in their assigned Mumbai territory. The core responsibility is to directly sell the company's products/services to consumers, retailers, or businesses, focusing on achieving ambitious sales targets and expanding the local customer base.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Direct Sales & Revenue Generation (The Core Focus)
Achieve Monthly & Quarterly Sales Targets:
Meet and exceed assigned targets for product volume, revenue, and customer acquisition.
Cold Calling & Prospecting:
Proactively visit potential customers, retailers, small businesses (SMBs), or institutional buyers in the assigned area.
Product Presentation:
Conduct professional, compelling sales pitches and product demonstrations showcasing the value and quality of dwarka.com's merchandise.
Order Closure:
Successfully negotiate terms, finalize sales orders, and ensure seamless order placement through company systems (either directly or via the dwarka.com platform).
2. Territory Management & Market Expansion
Market Mapping:
Systematically map the territory (e.g., specific suburbs, industrial areas, or high-density residential complexes) to identify high-potential sales pockets.
Channel Development (if applicable):
Identify, onboard, and manage local retail partners or distributors (e.g., small local stores, dealers) to sell dwarka.com products offline.
Competitor Intelligence:
Regularly track and report on competitor product offerings, pricing strategies, and sales activities in the local market.
3. Customer Relationship & After-Sales
Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key buyers to ensure repeat business and high customer retention.
Payment Collection:
Ensure timely and accurate collection of payments as per the agreed-upon terms with clients.
Issue Resolution:
Act as the first point of contact for any product- or delivery-related concerns, coordinating with the back-end support teams to ensure quick resolution and customer satisfaction.
4. Reporting & Compliance
Daily Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client visits, pipeline status, and market feedback in the company's
CRM system
.
Sales Forecasting:
Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts to the Area Sales Manager.
Compliance:
Adhere strictly to dwarka.com's sales policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical selling practices.
? Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Background:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Experience:
1-3 years of proven track record in
Field Sales
or
Direct Sales
, preferably selling tangible goods (FMCG, Consumer Durables, Apparels, etc.). Experience in an e-commerce ecosystem is a plus.
Language Skills:
Excellent command of
English, Hindi, and Marathi
(verbal) to effectively operate in the Mumbai market.
Skills:
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills. Must be target-driven and highly resilient.
Must Have:
A valid two-wheeler driving license and personal conveyance is highly preferred for field mobility in Mumbai.
