Job Summary

The Multimedia Producer will be responsible for creating engaging news content, writing scripts, and anchoring news segments for digital and broadcast platforms. This role combines strong writing skills with on-camera presentation abilities to deliver accurate, compelling stories that connect with audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Write and edit news stories, scripts, and headlines for broadcast and digital platforms. Anchor live or recorded news segments with clarity, confidence, and professionalism. Research topics and verify facts to ensure accuracy and credibility of content. Collaborate with newsroom teams, including editors, producers, and graphic designers, to produce high-quality segments. Adapt content style and tone for different platforms (e.g., web, social media, television). Maintain awareness of current news events, trends, and audience interests. Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field. 1-2+ years of experience in news writing and on-camera presentation. Excellent writing, grammar, and storytelling skills. Strong on-camera presence with clear articulation and confident delivery. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom environment. Familiarity with newsroom software and digital publishing tools is a plus. Knowledge of current affairs and news trends.

Work Environment
