Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:1. Training & Instruction

Conduct theory and practical sessions in

multimedia subjects

, including: Graphic Design Video Editing Motion Graphics Basics of 2D/3D Animation (as applicable) Teach design principles, visual communication, and creative workflows. Deliver project-based, industry-oriented training.

2. Software & Tools Training

Train students using industry-standard software such as: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Premiere Pro, After Effects DaVinci Resolve / Blender (if applicable) Guide students on proper file management, formats, and export standards.

3. Curriculum & Lesson Planning

Follow and support the institute's multimedia syllabus. Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and practical exercises. Update course content based on latest industry tools and trends.

4. Student Mentorship & Evaluation

Mentor students creatively and technically. Evaluate students through assignments, tests, and final projects. Provide constructive feedback and improvement plans. Support students in building

portfolios and demo reels

5. Project & Portfolio Development

Assign real-world projects such as posters, videos, animations, reels, and digital content. Guide students in creating professional-quality portfolios.

6. Lab & Classroom Management

Ensure smooth functioning of labs, systems, and software. Maintain discipline and a professional learning environment. Coordinate with admin/IT teams for technical support.

7. Industry Exposure & Skill Upgradation

Stay updated with current trends in design, animation, and media. Conduct workshops, demos, and internal training sessions. Share industry practices, career guidance, and freelancing insights.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

multimedia concepts and workflows

Proficiency in relevant creative software tools Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills Creative thinking with a student-focused approach Time management and organizational skills

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree/Diploma in Multimedia, Animation, Design, or related field 2-5 years of industry or teaching experience Strong portfolio showcasing multimedia work
