The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all electrical and pluming systems and components within a building or facility. This role requires the technician to ensure the electrical infrastructure is fully functional, safe, helping to prevent system failures and enhancing operational efficiency within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical and plumbing System Maintenance:
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems including lighting, electrical panels, wiring, and outlets.
Repair, replace, or upgrade electrical systems and equipment as necessary. Check for leakages,
Maintain and troubleshoot building-wide electrical systems such as lighting controls, power distribution, and HVAC electrical systems.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Quickly diagnose electrical problems throughout the building, including issues with lighting, outlets, breakers, and electrical equipment.
Respond to electrical outages or malfunctions, providing quick resolution to minimize downtime or disruption.
Repair or replace faulty electrical equipment, wiring, outlets, and circuits.
