Key Responsibilities:

Operational Responsibilities:

Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule and ensure timely completion.



Attend to guest room maintenance requests and resolve them promptly.



Conduct daily inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.



Maintain and repair equipment related to HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and kitchen areas.



Support in maintaining the building structure, fixtures, and fittings.



Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed safely and efficiently, minimizing guest disruption.



Respond immediately to any maintenance emergencies or breakdowns.



Record all maintenance activities in the system/logbook accurately.

Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to IHG safety standards and legal regulations.



Follow

IHG Way of Clean

and ensure all maintenance work areas are tidy and hazard-free.



Participate in fire drills, safety meetings, and emergency response procedures.



Use proper PPE and tools for all maintenance activities.

Energy Conservation & Sustainability:

Support the implementation of the hotel's energy conservation initiatives.



Report wastage or abnormal consumption of electricity, water, and gas.



Assist in maintaining efficient operation of all energy systems in the hotel.

Communication & Coordination:

Coordinate maintenance work with other departments to avoid service interruptions.



Communicate effectively with the Engineering team regarding maintenance needs and priorities.



Update the Chief Engineer on major repair requirements or replacement needs.
